Hello. My name is Gabe. I am 8 years old. I was diagnosed with insulin dependent diabetes (also known as Type 1 or juvenile diabetes) at the tender age of 17 months old. My mom and I are creating this website to put information and education all in one spot. Hopefully this will make your experience with diabetes much easier. Our belief is that knowledge is power, there is power in numbers and that you may have diabetes, but diabetes does not have you! Remember, you are never alone. We would love to hear from you with any suggestions, comments or questions. We will keep this website as updated as possible. Together we will find a cure! |
